A CHRISTCHURCH man will have to pay more than £2,500 for speeding in a Ferrari.
Richie Barratt, 44, of Footners Lane, Burton, was proved to be speeding in Gailey, Staffordshire on May 16, 2021.
Court papers state Barratt was caught on the M6 northbound between junctions 10A to 13 exceeding the 40mph limit.
The defendant appeared at Cannock Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on Friday, April 1.
Magistrates fined the 44-year-old £2,376 for the offence and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £190.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £90 meaning he’ll pay £2,656 in total.
Magistrates also endorsed his licence with six points.
