ORGANISERS of a popular music festival are gearing up for its return to Sandbanks beach this summer.

Around 5,000 festival goers are set to flock to Sandfest which will be held on Sunday, July 10.

Last year’s Sandfest was due to take place in July but had to be postponed due to coronavirus restrictions, taking place in September instead.

Festival organiser Ty Temel said: “I am absolutely buzzing for SandFest this year and so pleased to be able to get it back to its original July date, so we can make the most of the summer sun in our stunning location. I am so proud to be a local business operator that has grown this festival into something special with an incredible team.

“I want to thank the local community for supporting us all this time and helping us weather the pandemic. This is real grassroots event where consistently use local traders, local suppliers and employ local staff.”
