A FORMER caravan park in Dorset is set to go under the hammer at auction.
The site at Duncan Place in Bovington, which was previously home to four static caravans, is being listed by Symonds & Sampson.
The 0.47 acres of land is for sale at a public auction today, March 3, at Digby Hall in Sherborne, with a guide price of £50,000.
Details published as part of the listing state: "A parcel of land measuring approximately 0.47 acres (0.1942 hectares), historically comprising several garage blocks.
"In 1994, planning permission was granted for four mobile homes, for a temporary period of five years.
"It was renewed in 1999 for a further five years and again in 2005."
The site is currently vacant however the concrete pads remain.
Estate agents said the seller is restricting the use of the land to storage or parking spaces, however the buyer can request the seller’s consent post-completion should they wish to change the use. Consent would not be unreasonably withheld or delayed, it has been confirmed.
