PUPILS will be dressing up for World Book Day on Thursday.
The popular annual event sees children dress as their favourite book character.
Once again, we’ll be inviting readers to send us pictures of their children in fancy dress.
World Book Day is held in March each year and is a registered charity with the mission to give every child and young person a book of their own.
This year is extra special as it is the 25th anniversary of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland.
We’d love to see pictures of your mini Harry Potter, Hermione, Matilda, Stick Man, Gruffalo and Gangsta Granny.
We’ll be showcasing the costumes in a gallery on the day.

We’ll also be featuring a selection of images in the paper.
