Dozens of areas across Dorset have been affected by power cuts in the aftermath of Storm Eunice.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks has reported many outages across the county with hundreds of homes left without power.

A red weather warning was placed on the county by the Met Office on Friday. Now, Dorset is under a yellow warning for wind until 6pm on Saturday, February 19.

Dorchester

Postcodes affected: 210 postcodes in the DT1 and DT2 area

Power outages reported at 6.41am this morning, with aims to restore power by 11pm tonight.

Poole

Postcodes affected: 26 postcodes in the Lytchett Minster, Upton and Holston Heath area.

Power outages reported at 10.24am yesterday, with aims to restore power by 11pm tonight.

Wareham

Postcodes affected: 28 postcodes in the BH20 area

Power outages reported at 8.57am and 4.53pm yesterday, with both hoping to have power restored by 11pm tonight.

Weymouth

Postcodes affected: 155 postcodes in the DT3 area

Power outages reported at 6.41am this morning, with aims to restore power by 11pm tonight.

Wimborne
