A BAND from Bournemouth will perform a headline show at one of the town’s biggest music venues.
Folk punk five-piece Black Water County play their biggest show to date at the 02 Academy on Friday, March 18.
Black Water County said: “For many years we have all been in the crowd watching our favourite bands at this venue.
“We have also been lucky enough to support some of our favourite bands here. But never did we think that we would be headlining this venue.
“It really is a dream come true.”
The line-up will include three other local acts Mischa and His Merry Men, The Mistakes and Sinful Maggie.
The band added: “We felt it was important to keep things local as it's not an opportunity many local bands get as the 02 is typically reserved for bands that have a larger commercial following.”
The band previously sold out The Old Fire Station two years in a row before the Covid pandemic.
