TWO people were taken to hospital following a crash in Christchurch on Thursday evening.

The three-vehicle crash happened on the Christchurch bypass near to the Stony Lane Roundabout.

Police said the casualties sustained injuries that were not believed to be serious.

Police were called to the scene at 4.30pm with the road blocked due to the incident.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and two people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.

“The vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared at around 7pm.”
