FACE masks continue to be required in hospitals despite the rule change that comes into force today.
As the rules on the wearing of face masks by the public relaxes on Thursday, January 27, patients and visitors are reminded of the continued requirement to wear face masks in University Hospitals Dorset hospitals - Poole, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch - to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 and to keep the public, patients and staff safe.
Face masks, and hand sanitising products, are available at all main entrances to our hospitals. Social distancing and visiting restrictions also remain in place.
These measures are in line with other NHS hospitals across the country.
