POLICE are cracking down on teenagers smoking cannabis in public spaces in Poole.
Offcers have received a number of reports of teens smoking drugs during weekday lunchtimes in the Civic Centre car park in Commercial Road, Poole.
CSAS Officers have now added this area to their anti-social behaviour hotspot patrols.
A spokesperson for Poole Police said: "If you are behaving in this way, please show more respect for professionals and local residents in this vicinity. Police social media posts around cannabis frequently attract negative comment.

"Police social media posts around cannabis frequently attract negative comment. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that Cannabis is a Class B drug. Which means it’s illegal to have for yourself, give away or sell.
"Possession can get you up to 5 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both.
"Supplying someone else, even your friends, can get you up to 14 years in prison for possession with intent to supply (PWITS). Simply handing a drug to another person will constitute a "supply" and can have very serious ramifications."
