IT was an eagerly anticipated and unforgettable night.
Pop icon Sir Cliff Richard entertained the crowds with song and dance at the Bournemouth International Center on November 16, 2002.
The fans that had camped out that winter for tickets and those who had travelled from far afield were rewarded with an outstanding show.
It was the Peter Pan of Pop’s first major UK tour in eight years and the time off had clearly rejuvenated him.

Even at 62 he was astonishingly fit, empowered with a renewed passion for performing and full of fun.
At one point he took a call on a fan’s mobile phone from “Cheryl in Canada”. After first checking she wasn’t really from Essex he sang Happy Birthday to her.
