SINGER-songwriter Frank Turner will perform an intimate show in Bournemouth in March.

The gig at the Old Fire Station on Friday, March 18, forms part of a run of eight independent record store shows to celebrate the release of his forthcoming ninth studio album, FTHC, on February 11.

Bournemouth's show is being presented by Vinilo Records which has a shop in Christchurch Road, Pokesdown.

During his career, Frank has had four top five albums and performed 3,000 shows to more than two million people worldwide from grassroots venues to Wembley Arena and the 02.

Frank’s extensive support of the live music scene during the pandemic saw him play countless livestream benefit shows to raise money and awareness of the importance of small venues all across the country.

After raising nearly £300,000 he was recently awarded the Music Venue Trust’s award for outstanding achievement for grassroots music venues.

Ticket bundles for Frank’s intimate record store shows are available now via the independent stores direct
