Temperatures of -6.9C were recorded at Bournemouth Airport today, Friday, January 21.
Despite temperatures well below freezing, some people were still brave enough to take a dip in the sea this morning at Bournemouth beach.
Weather enthusiast, Bournemouth and Poole Weather said: "Looks like the coldest morning of winter so far, -6C just in land.
"Temperatures will slowly rise this morning, but it'll be again a largely sunny day once any mist and fog clears."

The weather enthusiast continued to say that it was "definitely the coldest morning" with temperatures of -6.9C recorded at Bournemouth Airport.
