BOBBY & CO in Bournemouth town centre had to temporarily close 'due to unforeseen circumstances' on Thursday.
The department store in the town square was evacuated at 4pm on Thursday, January 20, 2021.
A post of the Bobby & Co Facebook page stated: "We have had to temporarily close the building due to unforeseen circumstances.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming you back to Bobby’s soon."
The sprinkler system was triggered and water got too close to the electrics - as a result the store has had to close.
A spokesperson for Bobby's told The Daily Echo that the store plans to reopen tomorrow "all being well".
