PEOPLE who use Poole Park are being urged to report antisocial behaviour.
Police say that following antisocial behaviour at the cricket pavilion during the week at lunchtimes, Operation Point posters will be appearing in the park.
The posters, which feature a QR code scan with a mobile phone, encourage people to report antisocial behaviour and upload footage of it.
A Poole Police spokesperson said: “Whilst Poole's Neighbourhood Police Team patrol this location regularly, public contact around ASB is crucial to target specific locations, timings and behaviours.
“It also allows us to plan ahead and utilise certain tactics where we need to. The use of drug dogs or unmarked Police vehicles for example.”
Operation Point falls under Dorset Police’s anti-social behaviour campaign Operation Relentless.
The pilot operation was initially due to take place in Poole town centre and Ashley Road, Parkstone, until the end of December.
However, after a successful introduction, it has continued into the winter months.
