A MAN has been charged after a Southampton bank was broken into.
Police were alerted to an alarm activation at Halifax in Shirley High Street at 5.20pm on Sunday, January 16.
Officers attended and a man was arrested.
Kini William Hailstone, 27, of Hill Lane, Southampton has been charged with burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and criminal damage.
He was due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning.
