THE Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant is now open for applications.
The government announced the latest hospitality and leisure grant on December 21, 2021.
Applications from businesses in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors must be submitted by February 14, 2022.
Businesses can receive sums of £2,667.
The government has changed the eligibility criteria from other grants, and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council is expected to perform prepayment checks and determine awards by February 28, 2022.
The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant is only available to businesses on the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) ratings list.
With the primary principle of the grant scheme to support businesses that offer in-person services, where the main service and activity takes place in a fixed rate-paying premises, in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors.
