A 21-year-old pony has finally been rehomed after spending 808 days at an animal rescue centre in Dorset.
Lacey the Arab cross breed left Church Knowle rescue centre, run by Margaret Green Animal Rescue, for her forever home last weekend.
A spokesperson for Margaret Green Animal Rescue said: “We are absolutely delighted that Lacey has gone to her forever home.
“She was a very intelligent pony who was incredibly sweet and got on very well with her field companions.
“The team at the Church Knowle Centre loved getting to know her throughout her time in our care and she will be greatly missed by all the staff here.
“We wish her all the best in her new home with her thoroughbred companion and we hope she enjoys her new adventure.”
