A MAN was freed by firefighters after a two-vehicle crash in Poole.

The crash happened in Commercial Road at around 10.35am on Friday, January 14.

Police attended along with the fire and ambulance services.

Officers put road closures in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Two fire crews from Poole attended and released the man from one of the vehicles.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews had to extricate one male casualty from one of the vehicles and left in the care of the ambulance crews on scene.”

A Dorset Police spokesperson there were no reports of any serious injuries.

Officers left the scene at around 11.35am.
