Delays of more than an hour after crash on A31
A COLLISION involving a van caused delays of more than an hour in the New Forest, on Thursday evening.
Hampshire Police were called at 4.47pm to the A31 following a van colliding with the central reservation in the eastbound carriageway.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "The carriageway was closed between the A338 and the M27 while the scene was made safe for other road users.
“No injuries were reported to us.”
The incident caused delays of over 60 minutes.
At the time, National Highways advised road users to consider alternative routes and allow extra time for their journey.
