OFFICERS are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following criminal damage in Bournemouth.
On Saturday, November 6 damage was caused to Christmas trees in the Lower Gardens that were installed as part of the Christmas Tree Wonderland.
At the time, a spokesperson from BCP Council said they would be increasing security and putting up additional fencing around the installations as a precautionary measure.
The Christmas event still went ahead, with over half a million people visiting the Christmas Tree Wonderland over the festive period.
Police Constable Phillip Robbins, of Bournemouth police, said: “I have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak with.
“I would encourage anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
