A WANTED man from Northumbria was located and arrested whilst police were conducting welfare checks.
Officers from the Shaftesbury and Gillingham team were said to have been conducting joint housing checks and welfare visits yesterday when they located the man from Northumbria.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "The Shaftesbury and Gillingham team have been conducting joint housing checks and welfare visits today with Sovereign Housing, in doing so located a wanted male from Northumbria.
"He was arrested and is now assisting police in enquiries."
