AN UNINSURED Mercedes driver was caught speeding at 71mph on a Bournemouth roundabout.
Dumitru Daraban pleaded guilty to through the single justice procedure to charges of using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and exceeding a 40mph speed limit.
These offences related to the defendant driving a Mercedes car on the Bear Cross Roundabout, Ringwood Road, on August 20, 2020.
Daraban, 26 and of Portelet Close, Poole, pleaded guilty in February 2021, however, the case was adjourned on July 20 until December 21 at Weymouth Magistrates' Court for the bench to consider a disqualification from driving.
The offender was spared a driving ban, however, his driving record was endorsed with six points.
He was fined £750 and ordered to pay a £75 surcharge and £110 costs.
