THE White Christmas Dip may not have taken place last year, but there will be no stopping some brave bathers this time around.

The Bournemouth Spartans have marked Christmas Day every year since 1951 by heading into the icy water for a swim.
Many garb themselves in fancy-dress before charging into the bitter sea.
Since 2008 they have been joined by participants of the Macmillan White Christmas dip.
