AN ARTIST has launched a new Bournemouth-based record label and a new monthly live music night.
Stuart Semple has organised Art School Disco, which takes place in a secret bunker underneath the GIANT gallery in the Bobby's building.
The first event, which features DJ sets from Alan McGee and FREEMAN, as well as performances by Dead Patrons and Subliminal Girls, takes place on Saturday, December 11, from 7.30pm, with tickets available for £5 online at giant.space/events.
Subliminal Girls, who have signed with Stuart's Gigantic record label, will be launching their latest EP, Vanity Project.
Doors open from 6pm, with visitors having the an opportunity to get the first viewing of the 'It's a Rave, Dave', art exhibition.
Curated by Stuart, the exhibition explores the relationship between the 1990s counter-cultural Acid House movement and its influence on contemporary artists working today.
