COULD you give one of these animals a forever home?

Dorset-based rescue centre Margaret Green is looking to rehome animals in its care.

They include a pony, dogs, goats and a cat.

Bournemouth Echo:

Toby is an energetic, two-year-old Collie. He can get over stimulated very quickly, so he’s looking for an experienced, adult-only home. He has huge potential with the right owner, they will need to keep his mind busy and it would be fun for him to do something like agility. He has started his training but he will need this to be continued, to help him adjust to day-to-day life.

Bournemouth Echo:

Tina is a two-year-old ex-racing Greyhound. She is very sweet but she can be a bit nervous at first until she gets to know you. She gets very excited to go on her walks, so she’ll need an active family that can take her on lots of adventures. She can live with other sighthounds but she would prefer a home without children, cats and small animals.

Bournemouth Echo:

Enzo is a handsome, one-year-old Lurcher. He is a large, cheeky, playful boy who adores game time and human interaction. He’s looking for a home where someone is around for most of the day so he can build up his confidence. He has lots of energy so he would love to be able to go on adventures and long walks. He would be happy living with older children.

Bournemouth Echo:

Cupid is a 13 year old Saanen goat with horns, who is looking for a forever home with her companion, Bubbles. They can be a bit of a cheeky pair and it would be better if they were rehomed to someone that has experience with goats.

Bournemouth Echo:

Amber is a 23-year-old, 13.2hh registered Haflinger pony. She is a very lovely girl who gets on well with her field companions and is good to stable. She will require a confident, experienced home and handler as she can be a bit head strong and knows how to get away with things. She’s absolutely not nasty and with a calm, confident handler you will not notice these behaviours.

Bournemouth Echo:

Ethel is eight-years-old. She likes being around people, but she is still not sure if she likes being stroked for too long. She prefers being admired and loves to play. She’s very curious of the outside world and she is still building up her confidence. She would like to be the only pet in a quiet home.
