STEP ON down to the O2 Academy next year for a melon twisting, Bez dancing, reunion performance by Happy Mondays as part of a UK tour.
The Manchester band have announced a 23-date tour for 2022, stopping in Bournemouth on Saturday, November 19.
Fronted by the legendary Shaun Ryder, the band’s classic line up of Bez, Rowetta, Paul Ryder, Mark Day, Gary Whelan and Dan Broad will perform hits such as 24 Hour Party People, Step On, Hallelujah, Loose Fit, Judge Fudge, Kinky Afro and others.
Ahead of the band’s first tour in three years, Shaun Ryder said: “Really looking forward to the Happy Mondays 2022 tour. We’ll be playing all the hits so the shows will be fun.”
Dancer Bez said: “I can’t wait to get out on the road and do our headline tour next year around the country. Twisting my melons, man.”
