CAN you tell which of these £20 notes is fake?
Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team seized a fake £20 note from one of the shops on Poole's patch on the evening of Monday, December 6.
A police spokesperson said: “Even we noted what a convincing fake it is. However, with an awareness of fake notes of this standard and flagging it to our communities, we are hopeful more of you will be able to see the subtle differences which indicate it is a fake.”
So, which is the fake one? Police confirmed the top image is the forgery. Some of the key differences include the smudged window housing the Queen’s face (middle left), the overall colouring and the serial code which is more visible than it should be.
