DORSET welcomed a Royal visitor as excited locals caught a glimpse of HRH Prince Charles in Poundbury.

The Prince of Wales was spotted arriving into in Pummery Square yesterday morning, where he paid a visit to the Brownsword Hall, where there was a large police presence, according to onlookers.
It is understood his Royal Highness also visited local businesses in the area.
The below snaps were taken by a lucky photography student at a Dorchester school who happened to be out with his camera when the prince arrived.
Joe Hedges, 16, a student at the Thomas Hardye school, said: "It was exciting.
"I did not speak to him directly, however he was aware of my presence (he looked over at the camera). He arrived at 11:45am outside the Brownsword Hall in Poundbury and promptly entered this building, many other people were present.
"He strolled out of the building at 1:20pm accompanied by many other gentlemen and guards during a heavy downpour of rain. He then walked up adjacent Brookhouse Street."
Ashley Reed, assistant manager at nearby Budgens of Poundbury said she was aware of the visit, as colleagues at the store had been working when the Royal guest made an unexpected appearance.
"It's very exciting," she said. "He came to Pummer Square - there were tours taking place, a couple of customers later came in when I was on the till and were asking what it is like to live round here, so they may have come in as part of the tour."
Meanwhile resident Chantelle Lewis - who shares a birthday with Prince Charles - had the pleasure of meeting his Royal Highness.
Chantelle, who was born on November 14, the same day as the Prince, introduced herself, saying "It's pleasure to meet you Prince Charles."
