A MOBILITY scooter, bedecked with a Glasgow coat of arms and stickers, was allegedly stolen in Poole last week.

Police say between 4pm and 9pm on Monday, November 29, 2021, a mobility scooter was stolen from outside an address in East Street.

Officers investigating the theft are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The scooter is described as a large four-wheeled red Sterling Shoprider with a wicker basket and a Glasgow Council coat of arms sticker on the front, as well as a Glasgow sticker.

Police community support investigator Paul Bosley, of Poole Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who has seen a scooter matching the description given locally, either for sale or in unusual circumstances.”
