A MAN had his nose and jaw broken after a mass brawl outside a New Forest pub.
The incident, at 11.10pm on Saturday evening, occurred on Station Road in New Milton.
The victim, a 36-year-old man from New Milton, sustained GBH-level injuries, according to police.
Officers, after viewing CCTV of the fight, identified the 'main aggressor'. They then located a vehicle shortly afterwards, with officers confirming that a passenger in the car matched the description of a man seen on the CCTV footage.
A 26-year-old man from New Milton was then arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was later released on conditional bail, while police continue their enquiries.
