NO PARKING will be allowed on a stretch of Mudeford in January while gas mains replacement works take place.
BCP Council confirmed there will be a suspension of parking between Farm Lane and Mude Gardens.
A public notice confirmed the suspension would be in place between Monday, January 10 and Friday, January 21.
No parking, waiting, loading or unloading will be allowed at any time, but full emergency service access will be maintained.
The pedestrian footpath would also remain open.
The notice said: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in place under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
