A WOMAN was left concussed after being in the “wrong place at the wrong time” when a fight broke out in a Bournemouth bar.

At approximately 12.20am on Sunday, November 21, the victim – a woman aged in her 20s from Corfe Mullen – was in the smoking area of Bar So and was unaware a fight had broken out behind her involving a group of men she did not know.

During the fight a man was pushed into her, causing her to bang her head on a table. She sustained concussion as a result of the incident.

One of the men involved in the incident is described as white, around six feet tall, of muscular build and with strawberry blond/ginger hair with a beard. He was wearing a blue top and said he was in the Army and had just returned from Afghanistan.

Officers investigating the assault incident are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Police Constable Kristy Heron, of Dorset Police, said: “The victim was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and sustained a concussion during this incident.

“As part of my investigation I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or may be able to help me identify the people involved. I would urge anyone with information to please come forward.”
