EVERYONE has a favourite restaurant. And there are some that stay in your mind even years after they’ve closed.
Restaurants may come and go but when they serve fantastic food and a have a brilliant atmosphere, they may be gone but not forgotten.
We asked readers to tell us their favourite eatery from years gone by and we received a glut of responses.

Mrs T's in Westbourne
One person said: “Now we are talking. You had to book and not eat for a few days before. Fresh as fresh can be.”

Don Quijotes tapas bar and restaurant in Poole
“There was a place in Westbourne called Geneve - it was right on the edge so didn’t get much passing trade which probably contributed to its demise. They were doing a high end interpretation of American classics like Philly cheese steak, hot wings etc - the food was consistently superb. It disappeared around 2014 or so.”
