A BOURNEMOUTH man has been fined for driving without due care and attention in Salisbury.

Demitri Bessems, 36, of St Peter’s Road, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to driving a Yamaha motorcycle in Wilton Road without due care and attention on May 28.

He appeared at South East Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court on November 29.

He also admitted driving without insurance and driving on a road otherwise in accordance of a licence.

Bessems was fined £120 for driving without due care and attention, and £120 for driving otherwise in accordance of a licence. No separate penalty was imposed for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also ordered to pay £34 in costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

His driving record was endorsed with seven points.
