NEARLY 7.5 acres of land in Ferndown is to be auctioned in the run up to Christmas with a guide price of £120,000-plus.
The freehold site at Thames Close in Ferndown is among 126 lots being offered by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson across southern England.
Rob Marchant, the Dorset and Hampshire auctioneer for Clive Emson, said: “This parcel of land is situated at Trickett's Cross close to the larger settlement of Ferndown and is bordered by the Moors River to the north and Thames Close to the south.
“A portion of the land fronting Thames Close has previously been used for grazing but this was some years ago and the site has become overgrown. Part of the site, bordering the river, is included in a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
