TWO cars were stolen during the early hours of the morning from an address in Poole.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the burglary that occurred sometime between 12.30am and 1am on Tuesday, November 30.

Offenders gained entry to an address in Highview Gardens via a ground floor window and stole the keys to a Hyundai i10 and a Nissan Juke.

The Nissan was subsequently found abandoned in Cheltenham Road, however the blue Hyundai – registration HG15 WCT – is yet to be found.

Police constable Liam Moss, of the priority crime team, said: “I am appealing to any residents in the Highview Gardens area to please check their doorbell and home CCTV cameras between 12.30am and 1am and those living in Cheltenham Road to check between 2.30am and 3am to see if they captured any footage of the potential offender or offenders.

“I would also ask anyone who has seen a blue Hyundai i10 abandoned in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.

“The keys to the vehicles had been left within reaching distance of a window at the address and I would like to remind residents to ensure that all windows and doors are locked, especially at night, and car keys are kept hidden in a drawer or cupboard so they are not easily on show.”
