A DORSET man has been given a court bill for speeding through London.
Simon Ayres, 46, of North Street, Shaftesbury, pleaded guilty and was sentenced by single justice procedure at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 23.
He admitted driving a Volkswagen on the A40 near North Wharf Road in Shepherds Bush while exceeding the temporary 30mph limit on May 24, 2021.
He was caught travelling at 37mph.
Magistrates fined Ayres £66 and ordered him to pay a £34 victim surcharge.
He also had his driving record endorsed with three points.
