A MAN took clothes to the value of £800 without paying for them from a shop in north Dorset, as police ask for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred at 6.40pm on Thursday October 28 in TK Maxx in the Peel Centre, in Sherborne Road, near Yeovil.

A man entered the shop and placed various sweatshirts and tracksuit bottoms to the value of about £800 in a shopping trolley before leaving without making any attempts to pay.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “I have made a number of enquiries, but have been unable to identify the man.

“I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the suspect and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
