Headie One is obviously one for giving as much exposure as he can to as many other artists as possible and tonight was an excellent example of that.

The crowd is mostly pretty young with a large number of them probably not quite old enough to use the bars but despite that it was a very boisterous affair early on, some were a little bit too excited and had to be removed from the venue before Headie One had even stepped on to the stage.

When he did hit the stage, it was to a rapturous welcome from a pretty well sold O2 crowd who had obviously been looking forward to this show for a while.

As he said during his set it has been a rollercoaster ride over the last few years with some real highs and lows but tonight must surely go down as one of the high points.

The energy from the stage is infectious with the mix of Drill, Hip Hop and Rap from Headie’s number 1 album Edna and latest release Too Loyal For My Own Good really making a connection with the crowd.

At least one fan was invited on to the stage during the headline set and got to experience something that will stay with him for years to come.

At the end of the night there was one final track and Headie was gone which seemed like an abrupt end with no encore, still everyone seemed pretty pleased with the night.

Headie is obviously one of the UK’s leading artists in this genre and should go from strength to strength with many more high points.
