Firefighters were sent to a house fire in Swanage yesterday afternoon.
A crew from Swanage attended the incident on Cauldron Barn Road at 2.20pm.
The fire which involved a tea towel and bath mat, was already extinguished by the occupier before the fire service arrived.
After carrying out checks on the property, the crew was stood down and returned to the station.
A spokesman from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crew ventilated the property and fitted new smoke alarms.”
