Fire crews rushed to tackle a shed fire in Bournemouth before it spread to nearby houses.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire Howeth Road in Bournemouth around 4pm on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses reported the flames licking a neighbouring building.
A spokesperson for the fire service said firefighters from Redhill Park and Westbourne fire stations attended.
"Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one main jet were used to extinguish the fire", they added.
"Radiation from the fire damaged fascias and soffits on a domestic property and a commercial vehicle parked on the carriageway.
The fire and rescue service made a further reinspection on Saturday evening.
