AFTER what seemed like a lifetime of virtual, online quizzing - pub quiz nights are finally making a proper come-back.

In the last few weeks pubs and bars across the conurbation have reinstated their quiz masters and opened invites to the public to test their knowledge against strangers.

If you're itching to get quizzical, then look no further as we have rounded up six quiz nights to take part in across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Quiz Night at Ojo Rojo

The Wednesday weekly night quiz consists of several rounds of general knowledge and fun games so you do not have to be a complete geek to enter.

£2 each to enter and this can be won at the end of the evening. If no one wins the entrance money pot then it will roll over and be added to the following week, giving the possibility of a large pool of money to accumulate and be won by one lucky team.

Winning team can choose a £40 voucher or the cash entry money.

The quiz runs from 8pm to 10.20pm every Wednesday.

Pub Quiz at Flirt Cafe Bar

Wednesday night is quiz night at Flirt in The Triangle and winners get to take home a £50 flirt voucher.

Guests are advised to book a week in advance as the extremely popular quiz night books up quickly.

Categories change weekly though mainstays include a music round, picture round and general knowledge.

Quiz night at the Ludo Lounge

If you fnacy going to a quiz on a Monday night then pop into Ludo Lounge in Christchurch. 

It all kicks off at 8pm, however they recommend turning up no later than 7pm to guarantee your table.

The quiz costs £1 to enter, per person. 

First place wins the pot, second wins a £10 vouchers and third place wins sweets.

Pub quiz at The Nelson Tavern

For a night jam-packed full of fun and games, Nelson's quiz night on a Wednesday promises it all. 

The weekly quiz has cash prizes, 'higher or lower' and 'sticky 13'.

It costs £2 to enter and kicks off at 8pm.
