A HOST of Christmas craft fairs are taking place all over Dorset.

Whether you’re looking for a special gift for a loved one or just fancy a spot of festive shopping, there’s no end of events to choose from.

Here’s our guide to what’s happening over the next few days.

A two-day Dorset food and drink Christmas fair comes to Athelhampton House and Gardens on Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5, between 10am and 4pm. Visitors will be able to browse 45 stalls selling locally made products, food and drink, crafts and hot food. There will also be live music. Pre-booking is advised as ticket numbers are limited.
A free park and ride will operate from Dorchester to County Hall.
Tickets are £5 per person and entry is free for under 12s.

Shoppers will be able to browse Christmas gifts, jewellery, preserves, fudge, cake and cheese stalls at the Littledown Christmas Market on Sunday, November 28. The event at the Littledown centre takes place between 11am and 4pm with festive music playing in the main hall. There will also be Christmas cards, wrapping paper, wreaths and hampers on sale. The Dorset Team Christmas Fair comes to the Allendale Centre in Wimborne on Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5. The fair will bring together craft makers and vintage sellers who sell their wares on Etsy. Takes place between 10am and 4pm.

‘A Dorset Christmas’ will see The Tank Museum in Bovington partner with Dorset Food and Drink and the Dorset Etsy Team to create a festive market with over 80 stalls on Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28, between 9am and 5pm. Brewhouse and Kitchen in Southbourne hosts its Christmas Fayre between 12pm and 6pm on Saturday, December 4. There will be more than 30 local traders attending, plus live music, carol singers and an outside bar.

Poole’s Marvellous Christmas Market comes to Falkland Square for one day only on Saturday, December 4, between 10am and 5pm. There will be festive stalls and music courtesy of the Bournemouth Brass Band and The Mellor Sisters Christmas Show.
