MORE than £660 worth of alcohol was stolen from a supermarket in Wimborne.

A man entered Waitrose in Rowlands Hill at around 11.15am on Friday, November 5, 2021, and began to fill a shopping trolley with a selection of bottles of alcohol.

He then proceeded to leave the store without paying. The total cost of the alcohol stolen was £669.

A CCTV image has been released of a man police would like to speak with in relation to the incident.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have now obtained a CCTV image of the male suspect.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
