Storm Arwen is due to sweep the UK over the weekend with strong winds, snow, rain, and cold temperatures being warned by the Met Office. 

Bournemouth will feel the impact of Arwen, with a yellow warning in place for wind on Saturday, November 27. The Met Office is warning that the area will reach cold temperatures with a chance of heavy showers, hail and risks of gales.

Friday

The Met Office forecasts a cloudy start and rain throughout the day. But brighter skies and some hail later in the day are possible. 

It will be windy in the area as the storm brings gales in from the coasts of up to 19mph, and there will be severe gusts in the evening of 47mph.

Saturday

Rain will start the morning off in Bournemouth with some sunny spells in the afternoon 50% chance of precipitation.

It will feel cold with significant wind chills and gusty impacts. The maximum temperature will be 7 degrees.
