A MAN has been arrested after an alleged assault in a car park left the victim with a fractured cheek.
The incident occurred between 11.40pm on Saturday, October 2 and midnight on Sunday, October 3 on the ground floor of the Quay Visitors Car Park in Old Orchard, Poole, near to the exit.
It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s from Hampshire – was punched in the face by an unknown man. He sustained a fractured cheek and a laceration that required stitches.
Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, a 33-year-old man from the Poole area was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released under investigation as detectives carry out further enquiries.
