DILAPIDATED garages in a town centre which could be redeveloped are set to go under the hammer next month.

Auctioneer Symonds and Sampson have placed the block of garages and yard off Hound Street in Sherborne up for sale with bids starting from £45,000.

According to its brochure, the garages can hold three vehicles and its concreted yard area has parking for four cars.

Photos of the auction lot show the concrete 'dilapidated' garages have fallen into a state of disrepair and require some modernisation and repairs, with vegetation also growing on its roof.
