A EUROMILLIONS prize worth more than £995,000 has been won by a person who bought the ticket in Poole.

Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, operator of The National Lottery, can confirm that it has validated and paid out the £995,740.80 prize won on a ticket bought in Poole for the EuroMillions draw on October 12, 2021.

The ticket-holder of this prize has chosen to remain anonymous which means no further details will be released.

Unless the winner of a major National Lottery prize opts to take full publicity and signs an agreement to that effect, no further information can be released about their win.

Camelot's Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to pay out this fantastic EuroMillions prize and we hope that the lucky ticket-holder will enjoy their win.

“By buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise money for Good Causes. More than £30 million is raised every week for projects across the UK, both big and small, including funding everything from local charities making a difference where you live to supporting the nation’s elite athletes.”
