A BOURNEMOUTH man has been fined after displaying sign which was “threatening and abusive” in London.
Barrett Lancaster Brown, 40, of Priestley Road, Bournemouth, was found guilty at the City of London Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 5.
He was charged with displaying any writing, sign or other visible representation which was threatening or abusive within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm of distress in Parliament Square on April 3, 2021.
Magistrates fined Brown £225 for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £775 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He had until December 31, 2021, to pay the total of £1,020.
