After coming runners-up on the X Factor and going on to sell over two million albums in the UK over the following four years, JLS split at the peak of their powers much to the dismay of their army of fans.

Eight years down the road here we are back at the Bournemouth International Centre waiting for them to emerge onto the stage.

The audience is made up of pretty wide age range with some who would have been fans back in the day but many much younger who must have been six or seven when the band split.

Regardless of age they waited with baited breath as they counted down the minutes to the scheduled start. Sure enough the lights went down the screaming started and the band emerged out of the dark and went straight into The Club Is Alive, Do You Feel What I Feel and One Shot.

It may have been eight years but the band and their songs don’t seem to have ahead a bit and they certainly looked to be enjoying being back on stage together and performing in some of the countries biggest arenas.

The stage and light production was excellent as was the sound through out. The flames and pyro added to the excitement and energy of the set that the boys maintained thought out the hour and a half that they were on stage.

Close To You, Hottest Girl In The World, She Makes Me Wanna and Beat Again all made their way onto the set list that covered a good selection of their back catalogue much to the delight of the audience.

A short encore ending with Everybody In Love saw thousands of satisfied fans make their way out into the night hoping that this reunion sees the band back together and back on the road for many years to come.

If they do let’s hope they make their way back down to Bournemouth in the not too distant future.
